The Light Storm 1200d Pro is the flagship product of the Light Storm series from Aputure. With its 1200W COB, the LS 1200d Pro is simultaneously the brightest light in Aputure’s repertoire and also the brightest light with a Bowens Mount available on the market today. To optimize its light output, the LS 1200d Pro comes with three Bowens Mount reflectors with different beam angles; narrow, medium, and wide. The narrow Hyperreflector achieves an output of 83100 lux at three meters.
By using a Bowens Mount, the Light Storm flagship can use a large number of light modifiers such as Light Domes and Lantern Softboxes. As a professional light, the LS 1200d Pro uses a weatherproof design to withstand even unfriendly weather. In terms of its connectivity, a lot of thought has been given to lighting technicians. It uses both LumenRadioCRMX and Art-net & sACNvia etherCON, in addition to its 5-pin DMX512 connectors, to seamlessly integrate into any professional DMX interface. The light can also be powered by battery: By using one or two 48V/15A DC inputs for half or full power, users can use the 1200d Pro without loud generators.
