The SmartView 4K is the world's first full-resolution, rack-mountable Ultra HD broadcast monitor with 12G-SDI for native display of up to 2160p60. You get a professional broadcast monitor that supports the latest Ultra HD resolutions and also automatically switches between SD and HD-SDI formats. The latter is done through high-quality Teranex processing, resulting in a clean, professional image display. The precision-crafted metal chassis on the front panel features a control keypad, allowing for the use of integrated features such as 3D LUTs, H/V delay, blue-only mode, zoom, focus peaking, adjustable frame markers, and more. Alternatively, operation can also be done externally via Ethernet! The SmartView 4K supports installation according to VESA standards and can be mounted in racks as well as with articulated monitor mounts.

The SmartView 4K can be conveniently controlled via the controls on its front panel or remotely via a Mac or PC connected to an Ethernet network. The backlit front panel buttons are also easy to operate in studios or shooting environments with poor lighting. Using the front panel, you can select the input, adjust brightness, view focus peaking, perform zooms into the image, select 3D LUTs, and use advanced broadcast features such as H/V delay, blue-only mode, and frame markers. SmartView 4K comes with Mac and PC software, allowing you to connect the monitor via Ethernet and change all settings remotely. Ideal for large broadcast studios and post-production houses!
Broadcast Features - A Monitor of True Broadcast Caliber
SmartView 4K delivers features you need to monitor all technical aspects of your images. With the H/V delay feature, you can, for example, choose to shift an image either sequentially or simultaneously to the left and down, allowing you to check monitor data and information in the SDI blanking intervals. This makes it easy to track normally hidden information such as embedded audio data, subtitles, VITC, and other data stored between the blanking intervals of the SDI image. The "blue-only" feature allows you to control color tones and image noise. Professional 3D LUTs are supported, allowing you to switch between log and linear gamma or load LUTs for screen calibration. And when aligning elements, the customizable frame markers are ideal!
State-of-the-Art Connections - Connection via Regular SDI or Optional Fiber Connections!
The SmartView 4K is equipped with two multi-rate capable 12G-SDI inputs. This allows you to select between two different sources at the touch of a button! 12G-SDI is the latest and most technically advanced connection available. It provides compatibility with all your SDI equipment, ranging from SD and HD to Ultra HD 2160/60p! When switching formats quickly, the format change occurs almost instantly. There is also a SMPTE-compatible optical fiber SDI socket, allowing you to insert an optional optical fiber module that enables you to connect the monitor directly via a fiber optic cable! Additionally, you get a looped-through Ethernet port, AC and DC power connections, a tally input connector, USB port for software updates, and a 12G-SDI loop output.
Ethernet Remote Control - Change All Settings via Your Mac or Windows Computer!
In larger broadcast facilities and installations, multiple rack systems equipped with numerous monitors often need to be installed at different locations. Sometimes even entire monitor walls for master control and camera monitoring. With SmartView 4K monitors, this is easy to accomplish. Connect them to your Ethernet network, and all your monitors can be controlled via Mac or Windows software. Thanks to the looped Ethernet interface of the SmartView 4K, expensive Ethernet switches are unnecessary. Furthermore, you also retain the required bandwidth for quickly uploading 3D LUTs. To ensure all displays are set identically and their setup is quick, you can even preset the settings of individual monitors by copying and pasting.
