The Amaran F21x is a powerful and versatile flexible LED mat that offers excellent light output and color reproduction.
With an output of 100W, this ultralight 2'x1' fixture is capable of delivering 3632+ lux at 1 meter (5600K), surpassing anything else in its class. You can adjust the high-performance bi-color chipset of the F21x from 2500K to 7500K and trigger 9 different lighting effects.
Install the included collapsible softbox and transform this flexible mat into an ultra-thin, soft light that brings out every subject with outstanding CRI and TLCI values of 95+ and 98+, respectively. With stepless dimming from 0 to 100%, frequency selection to suppress flicker, and Sidus Link App control of the F21x, you can be sure to always choose your perfect lighting design.
The setup of the F21x is quick and convenient with the compact, foldable X-frame that stretches the F21x into a rigid panel. This frame can be mounted directly on a C-stand arm with the straight baby pin adapter or on any standard light stand with the included angled baby pin and tiltable stand mount. Attach the included softbox, one of two diffusers, and the fabric grid using the integrated Velcro to further refine your lighting design and provide wonderfully controlled soft light to your scene.
You can also swap the softbox for the separately available Amaran F21 Lantern Light Modifier, allowing you to replicate a volumetric lantern or pancake light with this ultra-light full-color fixture.
With the integrated three-meter connection cable and the included three-meter extension, the F21x can be used up to six meters away from its compact control box. The control box is equipped with a multi-voltage battery plate, allowing you to use compatible 14.4V, 26V, or 28.8V batteries.
The F21x has been designed from the ground up for a perfect balance of size, weight, and intensity. Combined with the soft carrying bag, the F21x becomes a portable light that you can take anywhere on any production.
With the Sidus Link App, you can use the unique tools of the Aputure and Amaran ecosystems such as Source Match, Color Picker, and Custom FX from your phone or tablet. And unique to the latest devices in the Amaran product line, you can control the F21x with a special USB-C to 5-pin adapter cable for DMX512 In & Out.
