William Vinten began manufacturing Kinemacolor projectors in 1909 and on January 7, 1910, he received his first order and officially founded his company. Today, Vinten is based in the heart of London's film district and trades under the name W. Vinten Cinematograph Engineers.
Vinten continues to follow the principles of its founder - highly innovative design and extreme precision in manufacturing. The company is continually working to expand the possibilities of broadcasting through engineering excellence and innovation and has more than 80 patents pending. Last but not least, Vinten is committed to working with cinematographers to realize state-of-the-art technologies for exceptional recordings.
