For NAB 2026, Blackmagic Design have introduced a lot of new products. One of the core products is the new ATEM Constellation IP series, consisting of rack-mountable video switchers with capabilities comparable to the familiar SDI switchers.
Front-mounted fans ensure extremely quiet operation, while the rear panel features 100G network ports for a redundant IP-2110 workflow.
-
This model offers four 100G ports for 32 inputs, 28 outputs, and 4 multiviews.
-
It is expected to be available starting in June 2026.
-
This version offers eight 100G ports for 64 inputs, 56 outputs, and 4 multiviews.
-
It is expected to be available starting in July 2026.
The new design of the ATEM IP switchers eliminates the front panel with controls. Two ATEM Monitoring Rack Panels are available to address this:
-
The ATEM Monitoring Rack Panel 20, reminiscent of the familiar 2M/E switchers, controls up to 20 video sources and features integrated 12G-SDI converters and an HDMI output.
-
Users who need to manage even more video sources can opt for the ATEM Monitoring Rack Panel 40, which offers 40 buttons and spans two rack units.
Those who want to integrate cameras into their IP workflow will need one of the new StudioBridges:
-
The Blackmagic StudioBridge 100G allows you to connect 100G cameras to your setup, such as the URSA Cine 12K LF 100G (see below).
-
The Blackmagic StudioBridge 10G PWR enables the connection of 10G cameras, such as the Blackmagic Studio Camera 6K Pro. It also converts up to eight 10G Ethernet connections to a single 100G connection and provides 90W PoE.
The Blackmagic SDI Expander 8x12G allows you to integrate traditional SDI devices into your IP workflow and can convert up to eight 12G SDI inputs/outputs to a single 100G Ethernet connection.
The Blackmagic UpDownCross 100G is an 8-channel standards converter for formats up to UHD60 with redundant 100G Ethernet.
