The Amaran PT2c 2-Light Production Kit is ideal for filmmakers and creatives who need a pair of medium-sized, battery-powered LED tube lights with unique pixel effects, offering double the power of 30 cm lights. The PT2c is part of the very first Amaran series of full-color LED pixel tubes. This new series includes tubes with lengths of approximately 30, 60, and 120 cm, each equipped with numerous pixel FX, RGBWW color quality, Sidus Link App & DMX control, and slim form factor USB-C batteries.
The Amaran PT2c is a compact, versatile tube light with a length of 60 cm, unleashing your creativity and offering a wide range of possibilities. The PT2c outperforms other lights in its class: it has eight built-in pixel areas that can be controlled independently via the Sidus Link App, seven pre-programmed pixel FX for a variety of scenarios, as well as nine System FX.
The RGBWW LED chipset of this full-color light produces excellent color quality and accurate skin tones. The wide CCT range ranges from 2,700K to 10,000K with full green-magenta control. The color rendering values with a CRI of 95, TLCI of 98, and SSI (Tungsten) of 85 or SSI (D56) of 75 are high. The PT2c's power supply ensures a 38.5-Wh lithium-ion battery that provides up to 170 minutes of maximum power.
The battery is charged via the USB-C port; USB-C PD allows for fast charging with 20W in less than three hours to full capacity.
The PT2c has two magnetic 3/8-16 threaded mounts to make mounting as easy as possible. With the magnets, the tube light can be attached to magnetic surfaces. With the 3/8-16 stud or a baby pin, the light is mounted on a stand. Thanks to the transparent design of the mounts, the light quality and performance are not affected. Additional 3/8-16 inch threads allow for mounting the PT2c on friction arms and light stands when the end cap magnets are not an option. Optionally available splitters offer numerous possibilities to arrange multiple PT2c tube lights in various 3D shapes, as well as the Amaran T2c and T4c.
The PT2c is controlled via a new interface with the latest user interface on the back of the tube or via the Sidus Link Bluetooth app, which also supports all other Aputure or Amaran product lines. This powerful application can control all lights in a scene, trigger impressive lighting effects, and ensure that the pixel tubes are always up to date. More complex consoles connected with a USB-C to 5-Pin XLR In & Out DMX Dongle (sold separately) will unlock DMX control for the entire Pixel Tube product line, such as the Amaran T2c/T4c and F-Series products.
The combination of functionality, battery power, high-quality coloring, and a high-light transmission diffuser that creates a wide 180° beam angle makes this portable pixel tube light from Amaran shine as an effect, fill, eye light, and much more. Last but not least, the 45º Fabric Light Control Grid (sold separately) perfects the light quality of this tube light.
