With the PYXIS 6K, Blackmagic Design have released a box camera which comes in a modular design.
Highlights:
- modular box-style camera, riggable
- 6K full-format sensor with 13 steps of dynamic range
- internal OLPF
- available with PL, L or Locking EF mount
- records on CFexpress Type B or via USB-C on external drives
- simultaneously records 12-bit files in Blackmagic RAW and proxy files in H.264
- global media synchronization via Blackmagic Cloud
- fully compatible with the URSA Cine EVF
- As an accessory, Blackmagic Design have announced a Rosette Plate, allowing for further rigging. The base camera ships with a standard and an SSD plate.
