The Spotlight Mount from Aputure is the world’s first of its kind for the Bowens Mount and allows Aputure to enter new territory in terms of light modifiers. The three lenses of the Spotlight Mount were made for professionals. Not only do they increase the light output of the Light Storm C120d II tenfold, the high-resolution lenses produce an extremely uniform beam of light with minimal edge light drop and change the color temperature by less than 200° Kelvin.
Low Chromatic Aberration
The new lens technology of the Spotlight Mount minimizes chromatic aberrations at the edge of the light circle. Compared to similar ellipsoidal mounts, the Spotlight Mount reduces the chromatic aberrations at the edge to just 1mm at a distance of five meters.
Control Over Light Shape
Like typical ellipsoidal lights, the Spotlight Mount offers users the easy switching between 19°, 26°, and 36° lenses - depending on whether you need a wider light circle or razor-sharp accuracy. In combination with the internal shutters, filmmakers get maximum control over the shape of their beam angle.
Equip Your Set with Flair
Through the integrated shutters (B-size), the shutter holder, and the gel frame, the Spotlight Mount allows even more light design possibilities to easily project any light shape or color you can imagine. In addition, the optional interchangeable iris allows filmmakers to further optimize the light output of the Spotlight Mount, both in terms of shape and size. Thanks to the dual slot design, you can use the shutter and iris at the same time.
Modular Design
Like the other high-quality light modifiers from Aputure, the Spotlight Mount follows the philosophy of versatility and modularity and uses the Bowens Mount, which allows both the use with Light Storm C120d II and C300d.
Dual Junior/Baby Mount
During the development of the Spotlight Mount, a lot of emphasis was placed on versatile mounting options. The Aputure Spotlight has a dual Junior/Baby Mount and can thus be attached to a variety of tripods or lighting grids.
Robust Metal Housing
The Spotlight Mount is extremely stable due to its housing made of an aluminum alloy and is lighter than comparable ellipsoidal artificial light lights. Wherever your production takes you - the Spotlight Mount is your faithful companion.
