Teradek Bolt 6 XT 750 12G-SDI/HDMI Wireless TX/RX
Bolt 6 XT is a wireless real-time video transmission system that supports 4K video with Teradek's patented Zero-Delay technology, now with less interference thanks to the newly opened 6GHz radio frequency. Bolt 6 XT can transmit and receive color-accurate True HDR videos in less than 0.001 seconds when using the Bolt 6 XT video transmitter and receiver included in the kit.
The main features of the Bolt 6 XT include range options designed for a variety of production requirements, fast reconnection times, intuitive and easy setup with the Bolt Manager App for iOS or Android, and stable connectivity. The Bolt 6 XT series utilizes the 6GHz band to provide users with better image quality and less interference. In heavily congested areas, the 6GHz frequency offers Bolt 6 XT users twelve new channels for frequency adjustment. Bolt 6 can also transmit metadata, timecode, and start/stop flags from most camera manufacturers.
The Bolt 6 XT has been redesigned to seamlessly integrate into your setup. It is smaller, lighter, runs cooler, and is 50% quieter than the Bolt 4K. An integrated 5-pin USB port allows for effortless wireless camera control when using SmallHD Smart Monitors and an enhanced wireless video mode with greater range. The Bolt 6 also offers new tools for high-end users to have better insight into their connections and signals, making workflow in any challenging environment safer.
The included transmitters and receivers are compatible with the entire Bolt 4K series - including Bolt 4K, Bolt 4K LT, and Bolt 4K monitor modules - giving you the flexibility to expand your workflow requirements. Connect up to six receivers to one transmitter or an unlimited number of receivers when using Broadcast mode (available on MAX models).
Bolt 6 XT is available in three different ranges: 750 feet (220 meters), 1500 feet (440 meters), and the MAX set, with up to 5,000 feet (1500 meters). Additionally, you can upgrade your set with Gold or V-Mount battery plates.
About 6 GHz:
Wifi routers, mobile phones, IoT devices, and wireless video systems from competitors are among the many devices that utilize the 5GHz frequency for wireless communication, leading to a heavily congested area where interference and even video dropouts are common. The Bolt 6 utilizes the newly opened 6GHz frequency for a significantly quieter radio environment (although it can still be set up in 5GHz mode for backward compatibility). In 6GHz mode, Bolt 6 users experience faster connections and less interference for a better wireless experience. The 6GHz frequency is now available in the USA and Canada according to UNII-5 government specifications. Other countries will release the 6GHz frequency in 2023.

- For the 6GHz band, Bolt 6 uses different antennas than the predecessor model Bolt 4K.
