Teradek Bolt 6 LT 750 TX/RX
The Bolt 6 LT set is a wireless real-time video transmission system that supports 4K videos with Teradek's patented Zero-Delay technology, now with fewer interferences thanks to the newly opened 6 GHz wireless frequency. Bolt 6 LT can send and receive color-accurate True HDR videos in less than 0.001 seconds with the Bolt 6 LT video transmitter and receiver included in the set.
Key features of the Bolt 6 LT set include a range of 220 meters (750 feet), fast reconnection times, intuitive, easy setup with the Bolt Manager App for iOS or Android, and consistent, stable connection. Bolt 6 LT utilizes the 6GHz band to provide users with better image quality and fewer interferences. In heavily congested areas, the 6GHz wireless frequency offers Bolt 6 LT users twelve new channels for frequency adjustment. The Bolt 6 can also transmit metadata, timecode, and start/stop flags from most camera manufacturers.
In addition, Bolt 6 offers new tools for high-end users, including better visibility of connections and signals, making workflow in any challenging environment safer. Furthermore, it provides access to the new Long Range Mode, enabling better video quality at greater distances. An integrated 5-pin USB port allows for effortless and wireless camera control when using SmallHD Smart Monitors.
The extremely compact transmitter and receiver included in the box are compatible with the entire Bolt-4K series - including Bolt 4K, Bolt 4K LT, and Bolt 4K monitor modules - giving you the flexibility to expand your workflow requirements. Connect up to six receivers to one transmitter.
The Bolt 6 LT series is available in three different ranges: 750 feet (220 meters), 1500 feet (440 meters), and the MAX set, with up to 5,000+ feet (1500 meters).
Since the Bolt 6 LT Kit has both 4K HDMI and 1080p SDI inputs and outputs, you can also choose the Bolt 6 LT HDMI model if your productions only require HDMI.
About 6 GHz:
Wifi routers, mobile phones, IoT devices, and wireless video systems from competitors are among the many devices that utilize the 5GHz frequency for wireless communication, leading to a heavily congested area where interference and even video dropouts are common. Bolt 6 utilizes the newly opened 6 GHz frequency for a significantly quieter radio environment (although it can still be set up in 5 GHz mode for backward compatibility). In the 6 GHz mode, Bolt 6 users experience faster connections and less interference for a better WLAN experience. The 6 GHz frequency is now available in the USA and Canada according to UNII-5 government specifications. Other countries will release the 6 GHz frequency in 2023.
