Deity DIFB Kit
Theos DIFB Kit from Deity contains three DIFB ultra-wideband IFB receivers and one DBTX transmitter. It operates in the wide frequency range from 550 to 960 MHz. The kit is designed for professional use in broadcasting, film, and live events and features easy setup with automatic pairing, a color display, and integration with the Sidus Audio app for frequency scanning and remote control.
Deity DBTX bodypack transmitter uses the 550 to 960 MHz frequency range in the UHF broadband spectrum. The transmitter has an integrated recorder that is used to record backup files. It supports 24- and 32-bit float formats. The recordings are stored on a 128 GB memory card in wav format. In addition, the transmitter can be synchronized natively and wirelessly with the Deity TC-1 timecode generator. The timecode ensures that the backup files are synchronized with the master file in post-production. In addition, a 3.5 mm jack socket is available for synchronization with third-party timecode generators.
Remote control is via the Sidus Audio app. This performs frequency scans and assignments, coordinates frequencies between multiple receivers, adjusts gain staging, and triggers the backup recorder. The transmitter has SMA antenna connectors, which allow for easy antenna replacement. Two AA batteries are also included, providing up to 10 hours of operation.
Theos DIFB (Global Unit) from Deity is a modern, digital IFB receiver with a metal housing, designed for fast and reliable cueing on set. Its ultra-wideband tuning (550-960 MHz) with Global OneBand detection adapts to local RF regulations.
The true diversity design of Theos DIFB receiver with two SMA antennas ensures clear signal reception. A large color screen and metal volume/selection knob allow for effortless control on the device. The lockable 3.5 mm headphone jack ensures secure reception. The device works with Theos transmitters and can scan/pair for quick deployment.
The large color display of Deity DIFB makes it easy to navigate through the menu and settings. The home screen displays the current frequency and volume. Pressing the rotary knob allows you to easily switch between the two functions.
For productions that switch between channels and crews, Theos DIFB stores up to 20 frequency presets that can be quickly cycled through. Battery life is excellent: up to 17 hours with a lithium battery, approximately 10 hours with alkaline batteries, or approximately 9 hours with 1900 mAh NiMH batteries. Alternatively, the device can be powered externally via USB-C, for example during all-day shoots.
The text-to-speech function in the headphones announces the respective DID name so that the user knows which feed they are currently monitoring, even when the device is on their belt. The Sidus Audio app control enables RF scans, bulk programming of preset memory locations, and frequency coordination control via smartphone.
Bluetooth headphone support and Bluetooth app setup optimize monitoring and setup across departments. Package options are available for cost-effective team deployment.
