The GA102-PTZ tripod system from Ikan offers versatile mounting solutions specifically designed for PTZ devices. Whether you’re using a PTZ camera, a robot-controlled pan-tilt head, or a complete PTZ teleprompter, this tripod system features a 100-mm flat base with a 3/8-inch-20 screw, ensuring a secure and stable mount for your equipment.
The GA102 video tripod’s two-stage, double-tube aluminum legs are designed to support a load of approximately 60 kilograms. The tripod’s 100-mm base allows for quick horizontal and vertical alignment of the load. Thanks to the E-Image Mono-Lock system, the height of both sections can be adjusted using a single twist lock.
The 100-mm flat base features a 3/8-inch-16 mounting screw at the top and is designed for mounting PTZ teleprompter systems or robot-controlled PTZ heads. When used with Ikan’s 19-inch PTZ teleprompter system, the 100-mm flat base allows for additional preliminary tilt adjustment. When shooting with a long focal length, this helps keep the teleprompter monitor out of the camera’s frame. After adjusting the preliminary tilt, you can pan and tilt the PTZ camera as needed. Using the P6 quick-release plate (included), which attaches directly to the 100BF flat base, a PTZ camera can be mounted independently.
The EI-7004B dolly runs on 4-inch rubber wheels with a locking mechanism and a load capacity of approximately 60 kg. This system has a set-up diameter of approximately 100 cm and features height-adjustable cable guards. Each dolly system can be easily folded up using the handle and a single wing nut and transported in the included DB-01 carrying case.
In the studio version, the PTZ tripod is shipped with an EI-7003B dolly featuring cable protection. This allows the PTZ camera to be transported quickly and easily on set or in the studio.
