Teleprompters have been part of the basic equipment of all professional TV studios since the 1950s. In addition to TV stations such as NBC, BBC, TF1, CNN, and many others, scientific institutions, commercial enterprises, and the US government have also long relied on electronic text supports - and therefore on Autocue's expertise.
The company was founded in England in 1955 and has been part of the Videndum Group since 2014. Its portfolio ranges from entry-level to professional equipment. Their latest in-house developments include high-class teleprompters for iPads.
