Teradek Bolt 6 Monitor Module 1500 RX Gold-Mount
The Bolt 6 RX Monitor Module is a wireless real-time video receiver that supports 4K video with Teradek's patented Zero-Delay technology, now with fewer interferences due to the newly opened 6GHz wireless frequency. This receiver monitor module can be directly integrated into the SmallHD Smart 7 monitor series. Receive color-accurate 4K HDR videos in less than 0.001 milliseconds.
The Bolt 6 Receiver Monitor Module easily attaches to the back of the SmallHD Cine 7, 702 Touch, and Indie 7 Smart Monitors. Through direct integration, the Bolt 6 and the Smart Monitor can share power and video, reducing the number of cables on set.
Key features of the Bolt 6 RX Monitor Module include range options designed for a variety of production needs, fast reconnection times, intuitive and easy setup with the Bolt Manager App for iOS or Android, and stable connectivity. The Bolt 6 series utilizes the 6GHz band to provide users with better image quality and fewer disruptions. In heavily congested areas, the 6GHz wireless frequency offers Bolt 6 users twelve new channels for frequency settings. Bolt 6 can also transmit metadata, timecode, and start/stop flags from most camera manufacturers.
The Bolt 6 Monitor Module also enables wireless camera control as it can be directly integrated into SmallHD Smart monitors. Bolt 6 also provides new tools for high-end users to have a better overview of their connections and signals, adding more security to the workflow no matter how challenging the environment is.
The Bolt 6 TX Monitor Module is compatible with the entire Bolt-4K series - including Bolt 4K, Bolt 4K LT, and Bolt 4K Monitor Modules - giving you the flexibility to expand your workflow requirements. Connect up to six receivers to one transmitter or an unlimited number of receivers when using Broadcast Mode (available for MAX models).
The Bolt 6 Monitor Modules are available in two different ranges: 750 feet (220 meters) and 1500 feet (440 meters). Additionally, the receiver is available with Gold or V-Mount battery plates.
About 6 GHz:
Wifi routers, mobile phones, IoT devices, and wireless video systems from competitors are among the many devices that utilize the 5GHz frequency for wireless communication, leading to a heavily congested area where interference and even video dropouts are common. Bolt 6 utilizes the newly opened 6GHz frequency for a significantly quieter radio environment (although it can still be set up in 5GHz mode for backward compatibility). In the 6GHz mode, Bolt 6 users experience faster connections and less interference for a better WLAN experience. The 6GHz frequency is now available in the USA and Canada according to UNII-5 government specifications. Other countries will release the 6GHz frequency in 2023.

- For the 6GHz band, Bolt 6 uses different antennas than the predecessor model Bolt 4K.
