Elite Accessory System for Canon EOS C400 (VM)
With the Elite Accessory System, Wooden Camera introduces an intuitive accessory and power distribution solution for the Canon EOS C400. Thanks to numerous mounting points supporting a wide variety of accessory configurations, this system maximises the camera's versatility on set.
The optically centred ARCA Base Plate and Riser System positions the camera at the ideal height for mounting accessories. The riser plate can be used either on its own with the ARCA shoulder pad or together with the ARCA Steadicam plate. The Base Plate is required for both tripod and dovetail systems.
The three-piece Top Plate System offers countless mounting options for accessories. To achieve this, the native EOS C400 handle is replaced by the removable Centre Top Plate and the Ultra Handle Kit. A Dual Rod Bracket can be mounted to this Top Plate System, enabling rod-based accessory mounting. The NATO side rail attaches to the Top Plate near the rear of the camera without interfering with the EOS C400 handle. It provides additional mounting points and allows the use of NATO clamp accessories. Patented anti-twist safety pins ensure a secure attachment.
The Battery Slide Pro V-Mount mounts directly to the rear of the camera without the need for rods. Via a 4-pin XLR connection, it supplies battery power to the camera. The camera's battery compartment remains fully accessible, allowing the internal BPU battery to be swapped during operation. The DC input on the right side of the camera can be used for hot swapping between block batteries and onboard batteries. Three D-Tap outputs provide accessory power when operating on battery power. If required, a digital fuse disconnects the accessory outputs while keeping the camera powered on.
Using the Bolt-On EVF Adapter, the 15 mm EOS C400 EVF can be securely mounted directly to the Ultra Handle Front Riser or to the front of the 1-inch Ultra Handle Extension when using the Ultra Handle 5" Kit. Attachment is achieved using a 3/8"-16 screw with a 3/16" hex key.
