The Focus 504 is SmallHD's latest compact onboard monitor with all the features of PageOS at an entry-level price. It offers all the features and customization options of the PageOS 5 tools on a 5-inch premium touchscreen monitor. With a brightness of 1,000 nits, this compact model is easy to read even in daylight.
Turn your touchscreen into the command center of your camera. SmallHD's included software allows unrestricted access to the camera functions and project settings of RED DSMC2, KOMODO®, and V-RAPTOR™. This includes start/stop recording, FPS, shutter speed, ISO, color temperature/white balance, clip playback, and more. Single licenses for camera control software are available separately. The USB-C port with a locking mechanism combines power delivery, video, and USB data. The connected device determines which functions work together. These include drawing power or supplying power to a compatible accessory, video input or output via DisplayPort Alt Mode, and USB data transfer for LUTs, updates, and supported camera control.
Video transmission to the Focus 504 is possible from an iPhone, an Android device, or any other compatible device that provides a DisplayPort video output via USB-C. The Focus 504 also enables video transmission with a Teradek Ace Micro transmitter and also powers this device.
The Focus 504 is compatible with all camera control licenses supported by SmallHD. The PageOS software can send commands to compatible cameras via the camera control interface, allowing users to view footage and adjust settings. These include aperture, ISO sensitivity, shutter speed, ND filters, frame rate, white balance, and recording. For select cameras, additional features include clip playback, touch-to-focus, options for recording format or color look, and full access to the camera menu.
