Laowa's Probe series is well known amongst our customers, especially the current Pro2be lenses. With Probe Zoom, Laowa now brings the versatility of a zoom lens to this extraordinary range of macro lenses.
Thanks to its ultra-wide 15mm full-frame perspective and the extremely close focusing distance of only 5 mm, you can capture even tiny details. The waterproof front barrel, allows for underwater shots and even more creative options.
The Laowa Probe Zoom consists of two parts: the front barrel and the zoom module.
With the zoom module, you can choose between:
- 15-24 mm T8
- 15-35 mm T12
The front barrel can be selected from four options:
- Direct view – The usual probe lens perspective
- Periscope – This new lens provides an extensive periscope view parallel to the camera, rendering the subjects at different elevations as you look through the viewfinder
- 35° view – Providing a 35-degree view for cinematic high-angle and low-angle shots without tilting the camera
- 90° view – Shooting unique angles like side shots or looking up/down without tilting the camera
Laowa Probe Zoom lenses can now be pre-ordered through our reseller channel. We expect them to be shipping in mid-July 2025.
