SmartScope Duo 4K offers two 8-inch LCDs in a 3RU size for monitoring SDI/HD-SDI/3G-SDI and 6G-SDI with integrated scopes for technical waveform monitoring.

Perfect SDI Video Monitoring

SmartView monitors are the perfect choice to have SDI monitoring available wherever it is needed. They can be used in broadcasting, post-production, on-set monitoring, in flyaway kits, OB vans and more. When working with live production mixers, you can set up a video wall of camera monitors in your control room and view all sources. Combine different SmartView models in a rack and build a custom monitoring solution so you can evaluate your images and selected scopes side by side.

Perfect Monitoring

SmartView monitors are ideal for high-end broadcast monitoring as they have high-quality filtering and scaling that also make fine image details visible. The fully digitized design with high-quality SDI inputs ensures precise color reproduction that can be easily managed across multiple displays. Via their Ethernet port, you can connect SmartView monitors to a network and centrally control all monitors from a single computer using the SmartView software. SmartView monitors also come with an integrated tally that is fully compatible with many mixers and automated systems.

Precise Waveform Monitoring

Use the integrated waveform monitoring of SmartScope Duo 4K for in-depth analysis of image quality that goes beyond just looking at the image. You can view two separate sources at the same time, and conveniently switch between monitoring or scope views as needed. Choose between Waveform, Vectorscope, RGB Parade, YUV Parade, Histogram and displays for audio phase and level. This gives you broadcast quality monitoring that shows you everything you need to know technically about your video and audio signals. The SmartScope Duo 4K makes separate and expensive scopes superfluous!

Extremely slim design

With their elegant front panel, SmartView monitors also look good in combination. So you can build chic monitor walls with a uniform appearance of the same width from several SmartView Duo and SmartScope Duo 4K monitors. So light and slim, SmartView monitors are ideal for use in OB vans and flyaway kits. To store SmartView monitors at the top or bottom of tower-high equipment racks, they can also be installed at an angle. The monitor automatically detects the screen angle and aligns the image correctly.

Higher SDI compatibility - SmartViews support SD-, HD- and 3G-SDI formats

SmartView monitors are designed for use in broadcasting and post-production and support multiple SDI video standards, including SD-, HD- and 3G-SDI formats. They support new advanced video standards used in post-production. These include progressive HD formats with 1080 scanning and 2K via 3G-SDI. Any video formats can be fed in and switched again, as SmartView monitors automatically switch to the new format in less than a second

Easy calibration

SmartView monitors are connected via Ethernet and can all be calibrated centrally from one location. This makes it easy to balance all monitors. With the SmartView software for Mac OS and Windows, you can even make changes via laptop and copy the settings from one monitor to another. The software offers a detection function to find the monitor to be balanced - even if you are working with many monitors. Since these are electronic adjustments, the monitor color remains stable over time. Software updates for new video formats and waveform displays can be easily added via USB.
