The X-Series is BirdDog's range of high-quality PTZ cameras. Four of them have now been released and cover a broad spectrum - from the affordable entry-level model in Full HD with Wi-Fi to the UHD heavyweight for professional workflows.
And best of all: all models are NDI|HX-capable! This means that video signals can be transmitted easily and cost-effectively via Ethernet.
X1 and X1 Ultra - Entry-Level Model with Wi-Fi
These affordable models are the perfect introduction to the world of NDI and PTZ. The special feature is that they are equipped with Wi-Fi - without compromising on image quality. They are particularly suitable for the education and corporate sectors.
The X1 delivers Full HD resolution, while the X1 Ultra - as the name suggests - can record in Ultra HD, i.e. 4K.

The X4 Ultra is not only Wi-Fi enabled, but also supports the Wi-Fi 6 standard - this ensures a particularly fast and stable connection. It is also the only camera in the series with built-in batteries, allowing users to film flexibly and from almost anywhere.In addition, the X4 Ultra has a larger sensor with a UHD resolution and 60 fps.

X5 Ultra
The X5 Ultra is ideal for professional workflows with high bandwidths. This is due to the outstanding motorisation and the variety of formats up to 12G-SDI. The camera also has a 20x optical zoom.
It is ideal for live events or broadcasting - wherever reliable performance with high image quality is required.
