Core Accessory System for Canon EOS C400 (GM)
The Core Accessory System for the Canon EOS C400 from Wooden Camera provides numerous mounting points for accessories while maintaining a compact camera build.
The optically centred ARCA Base Plate and Riser System positions the camera at the ideal height for mounting accessories. The riser plate can be used either on its own with the ARCA shoulder pad or together with the ARCA Steadicam plate. The Base Plate is required for both tripod and dovetail systems.
The left and right Top Plates are symmetrical, providing additional mounting points on both sides. For maximum convenience, the Top Handle Cheese Plate mounts seamlessly to the EOS C400 handle. It features additional mounting points on both the top and side. The design allows easy access to the EOS C400 hot shoe for attaching the camera's shotgun microphone mount.
The NATO Side Rail mounts to the Top Plate near the rear of the camera without interfering with the EOS C400 handle. In addition to extra mounting points, it enables the use of NATO clamp accessories. Patented anti-twist safety pins ensure a secure and permanent attachment.
The Battery Slide Pro Gold Mount or Battery Slide Pro V-Mount attaches directly to the rear of the camera without rods and powers the camera via a 4-pin XLR connection. Access to the battery compartment remains unobstructed, allowing the internal BPU battery to be hot-swapped at any time. The DC input on the right side of the camera can be used for hot swapping between block batteries and onboard batteries. Three D-Tap outputs provide accessory power at battery voltage. If triggered, a digital fuse disconnects the accessory outputs while keeping the camera powered on.
