Laowa Probe Zoom 2-Lens 15-35mm T12 Bundle
Laowa has put together three different bundles for their professional Probe Zoom Macro lenses. They consist of either 2, 4, or 8 lenses. Each lens in these sets is a fixed, non-separable unit and they come in a protective carrying case. The lenses were developed for filmmakers looking for unique and immersive perspectives that cannot be achieved with normal Probe or Probe Zoom lenses. Laowa thus offers the widest Probe Zoom series currently available on the market.
The bundles are based on two lenses with different zoom ranges: the Laowa Probe Zoom Macro 15-24 mm T8 and the Laowa Probe Zoom Macro 15-35 mm T12. With its 2.3x zoom, the 15-35 mm model offers the largest zoom range. Thanks to the very wide 15 mm full-frame perspective and the extremely short minimum focus distance of only 5 mm, even tiny details that were previously unattainable in expansive environments can now be captured.
With this versatility combined with its immersive perspective, the Laowa Probe Zoom Macro is particularly suitable for cinematic storytelling, wildlife photography, and commercial projects where both macro-level details and the context of the wider environment are crucial.
Each of these two lenses is available in four different versions: As “Direct View,” they offer the usual probe lens perspective. The ‘Periscope’ version enables a periscope view parallel to the camera. The “35-degree” and “90-degree” perspectives allow filming from elevated and low positions without having to tilt the camera.
The 2-lens bundle consists of either the 15-24 mm T8 or 15-35 mm T12 zoom lens in the Direct View and 90-degree variants. The 4-lens bundle includes one of each of the two lenses in the four variants: Direct View, Periscope, 35 degrees, and 90 degrees. Finally, the 8-lens bundle contains both lenses in all four variants.
All lens variants are delivered with an Arri PL mount. Interchangeable mounts for Canon EF, Sony E, Nikon Z, Canon RF, and L-mount are available as options.
