The Unified DSLR Cage (Large) by Wooden Camera is a height-adjustable quick-release cage designed for larger DSLR cameras such as Canon 1DC, 1DX, 1DXmkII, 1DmkIV, 1DmkIII, Nikon D4, D3x, D800, and many cameras with built-in battery grips. The open shoe mount area allows for trouble-free installation of shoe mount accessories. The minimalist design provides mounting points on the top and side, while all important camera controls are easily visible and accessible on both the right and left sides.
The cage features a reversible handle that can be mounted above the lens when using an XLR adapter. Built into the handle are a shoe mount and a 15mm rod clamp for attaching Wooden Camera UVF kits. The handle can also be folded for transportation or mounted on the left side as a secondary handle.
Cameras with flip-out LCD screens can be easily positioned, and the included HDMI cable clamp can be attached to the vertical rod to protect the cable and prevent damage to the port.
The Unified DSLR Cage (Large) by Wooden Camera includes a height-adjustable 15mm LW rod clamp for mounting 15mm rods at the correct distance from the lens center, ensuring compatibility with standard matte boxes and follow focus systems.
