amaran – Innovative and Cost-Effective Lighting Solutions for Video and Photography
amaran develops high-quality and affordable LED lights, specifically designed for beginners and aspiring content creators.
Originally launched as a product line under Aputure, a leading manufacturer of lighting equipment for film and video productions, amaran’s range consisted of practical LED lighting solutions. In April 2024, amaran made its official solo debut at the NAB Show and was spun off as an independent brand from Aputure.
The product portfolio includes flexible LED mats, LED tubes, panels, point light sources, and lighting-specific accessories. amaran products stand out for their precise light temperature settings, accurate colour reproduction, and versatile applications. With the amaran app, amaran and Aputure lights can be controlled wirelessly—ideal for on-the-go setups, home studios, or streaming.
Special highlights include the powerful 300W Full-Color LED spot, amaran 300c, featuring RGBWW full-color control and flexible usability, as well as the portable full-colour LED tube PT1c. This light, equipped with magnetic ends and creative settings, is especially popular for stage setups, music videos, and commercials.
New Media AV distributes amaran products in the DACH region and selected countries in Central and Eastern Europe.
